Seu Jorge Tour Canceled?!?!?
got my Seu Jorge/Cesaria Evora tickets in the mail last week for the June concert in Toronto... then I hear Seu Jorge bowed out. Started planning a trip to go check out his gig in Philadelphia also planned for June... it seems that's canceled too... does anybody know what's up?

Thanks SOO much for translating those songs!!! I don't know what's up with his tour. I was gonna check him out in Solana Beach, but that was cancelled as well. I was looking through news archives (past months) and there was something about a copyright dispute... I was thinking that it maybe had something to do with that, but I don't know for sure.

Hello, I too, bought a ticket for Seu Jorge's concert here in NYC and it was cancelled, his entire tour was =/. Like the other person mentioned Seu Jorge is being sued by some writers in Brazil who claim that he stole their songs, which were on his FIRST album. It's amazing that they're filing this suit NOW...
I was so disappointed...I REALLY wanted to see this man perform. Hopefully he'll reschedule soon!
Hello, can you please translate Bem Querer and Te Queria. Seu Jorge also has a song called Ze Caroco that he performs with Ana Carolina on their live CD, can you PLEASE translate that as well. Thank you so much. This is a wonderful blog...it's great to know what's he's singing!
I saw Seu Jorge and met him last night in Illinois. That is too bad the other shows got canceled because I had no idea that any were.

Just a question: Is there any reliable web site with Jorge's tour dates? I've been to this blog, and all the dates are for November (and it's December now).
